Seating

Our new First Class features a wonderfully big bed – 81 inches long – that will remind you of sleeping at home. And when you awake, a press of a button will transform it into one of the most comfortable seats in the sky, with massage function, extendable side seat, drop-down armrest, and all the adjustments you could want for a pleasant journey.

Business class

Wouldn't it be nice to get away from it all and leave your cares behind? You can, in the cosy surroundings of our new Business Class, with its exceptional comfort and enhanced privacy.

Seating

First things first – let's talk about beds. After all, it's when you lie down that you want all the room you can get, to stretch out, turn over, maybe even curl up a bit, like you do at home. Which means you’ll want a perfectly flat bed with lots of legroom. And that’s exactly what you get in our new Business Class – all at the touch of a button.

Economy class

The first thing you'll notice in our new Economy Class is that your space really is your space. And then there's the total control you have of your entertainment with our new Audio and Video on Demand.

The fixed-back shell seat in our new Economy Class ensures that no one in front of you will ever intrude into your space again. So you can relax and enjoy your 9" widescreen TV with StudioCX – featuring a rotating library of 100 movies, 350 TV shows, 888 music CDs, 22 radio channels, and entertainment programmes in nine languages.*.

Seating

You'll be happy as a clam in your new shell seat. Why? Because no one will ever recline into your salad or onto your computer again – they're in their own shell seat. The fixed-back design means that all seat movement is within a shell that doesn’t move whether you're sitting upright or sleeping, so everyone has a protected personal space. And with a LEAP® Live Back™ upholstered seat, it's a very comfortable space, with smooth reclining and an adjustable headrest.

Cathay Pacific's new AVOD (Audio/Video On Demand) system offers up to 100 movies, 350 TV programmes, 888 CDs and 22 radio channels to all passengers on the aircraft. Our new cabin designs with this enhanced inflight entertainment are being progressively introduced on our medium- and long-haul aircraft.

First and Business Class passengers can also enjoy AVOD service on all long-haul aircraft.

Personal TVs are available for everyone travelling on all other aircrafts with up to 26 video and 22 radio channels.

Cathay Pacific passengers come from many different Asian and Western cultures, so we offer audio-visual programmes in many languages. Movies are available with alternative soundtracks in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, French, Italian or German; TV programmes are broadcast in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese and Hindi respectively.

Dining

We keep our galleys stocked full with a variety of tasty treats, from noodles and sandwiches to ice cream. So the next time you wake up in the middle of a flight, don’t go hungry.

We are among the first airlines to have put rice cookers, toasters and skillets on board, enabling our flight attendants to prepare freshly cooked rice, toast and eggs. First Class passengers can now go à la carte and choose their own meals and dine anytime they wish. Hmm, how about having fried eggs, sunny-side up?

Due to special climate controls inside the cabin, the best wines in the air are often those that are more robust in flavour. We carry a range of 40 quality wines on board – from rare wines produced in France and Italy to wines from the New World including South Africa, Australia, the United States and New Zealand and of course, we only offer you the top picks.

Orders for special meals should be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled flight.
